My son Clayton (age 5) loves books (just about as much as he loves his dogs). We found out about Ralph's First Day of School and rushed right out to buy it. We were not disappointed. Our son is enjoying every page . . . and his "own" special time with his dogs.
He has shown a very strong interest in training and working with our dogs. I am sure in part because he sees his mom having so much fun participating in dog events, but this now gives him something very specific to look forward to and follow along with his own special friends. Neither the dogs or Clay care that our dogs already know most of the commands, that does not stop any of us from playing right along and enjoying the experience. Kari (mom)
